上學去 陪伴學習的新校舍

兩年前，許多校園遭受八八風災而毀損，包括了學生們上課的學校，為了讓學習不受到影響，政府立即展開應變措施，安排學生至其安置區附近學校就讀，並展開災損學校的重建計畫。在新的學年，多半的學校都已重建完畢，陪伴學生們嶄新的學習生活。

八八風災發生後，當地居民多半疏散至其他地區，也影響了上課情形，政府立即展開協調工作，如最多民眾疏散的旗山地區，就有許多學校伸出援手，安置重建區學生寄讀。桃源區的1間國中及4間國小，則全部在和春技術學院的校區上課，每天政府都派專車由其暫時居住地載至學校上課。如此辛苦的學習生活，在經過一學期後，多半學生回到原來的學校就讀，僅剩下校園完全毀損的學生，仍然寄人籬下。

完全毀損的學校包括那瑪夏區的民權、民族國小，以及小林村的小林國小。民權、民族與小林國小的學生目前分別在那瑪夏國中活動中心、旗山國小、甲仙國小就讀。而這3間學校也在民間企業協助下展開異地重建，民權國小由台達電、民族國小則由慈濟、小林國小由TVBS協助其重建工作，民族與民權國小均已接近完工階段，可望在本學年度啟用。另有兩間學校：那瑪夏國中及六龜國中也在八八風災中受損，但其僅是部分受損，經過整修後，校舍均已完工啟用。

除了這5間學校外，還有1間學校已在8月1日離開寄讀地。這是位於桃源區的寶山國小，其校舍雖無損毀，但因道路中斷，使得學生們前兩年都在六龜國小就讀，在道路修復後，學生們終於可以回到家園讀書。

新校舍陸續啟用，象徵重建區新生活漸上軌道，一點一滴，從居住、就業到教育，重建區的民眾已克服萬難，逐步恢復往日生活。

New Campuses in the New Session

Typhoon Morakot hit Taiwan 2 years ago on the Aug. 8th, it was a disastrous day for many of Southern Taiwan, and the schools, among many other facilities, there were devastated. In order not to interrupt the students’ education, the government responded immediately with emergency measures, such as relocating them to study at schools near to where their families were temporarily settled and undertaking plans for reconstruction. The rebuilt of most of these schools are now upon completion, and the students can finally resume their school life in them.

Min Chuan Elementary School, Minzu Elementary School in Namaxia District and Xiaolin Elementary School in Xiaolin Village have been the main focus of the school rebuilt effort, and the reconstruction of these three has been assisted by Delta Electronics, Inc., Tzu Chi, and TVBS respectively. The work on the former two schools is now almost done, and the new campuses are expected to be reopened to the returning students for this coming academic year.
